FoodLoc is a connected food discovery experience powered by local foodies. Imagine you are in a new city and would love to try something popular, but don't have time to do the research. Most importantly, you would love to know where the locals eat. So we created a visually driven food discovery app which lets you find where the local food experts eat.
Wouldn't it be cool to brag to your friends that you ate at a Michelin star restaurant or that restaurant shared by your favourite Instagram celebrity? We surface such location and information shared by the food experts that you wouldn't normally discover elsewhere.
What does our app offer:
Choose Your Explorer
Explorers are local foodies in a given city. They are your virtual tour guides helping you discover local nuggets wherever you are. You can choose your favourite explorer, view their bios and roam through the city trying different cuisines recommended by them.
Discover
Discover feature shows scrumptious food images shared by explorers from their favourite restaurants. In addition, this feature also shows your location and direction to that restaurant.
Search
Improved search functionality to search for something you are craving for and see which restaurants are recommended by the explorers. If you don't know what to search for, we show four most shared food options to choose from.
